Hot 18" x 24" Oil

This was a discarded life painting, done at HAS years ago. As soon as I saw it again, I knew why it had been rejected. The legs were far too small! She looked deformed, so I set to work. She certainly looks better now, although far from comfortable. How the model lay like that all afternoon, I don't know, but she did.

If you would like to purchase this painting for 100 GBP please email me.

Interesting to know why you discarded it...

Thanks, Dave, I can see a thousand reasons to discard it now,I just knew I didn't like it at the time. I promised I would post everything I do,good and bad, otherwise it gives a false impression to people that this is easy! I wish I had photographed the picture before I tiddled it up, for all the world to see.

You are a brave woman, Sharon, for diving in again on this, but most of all for showing both hands! I hate painting hands. You've done a great job with it.

I agree with you, she must have had some aches and pains after the end of the session.

Bill, thank you, I bask in all kind words! But do you know, I thought long and hard about keeping in the hand on her hip!I usually paint hands too big, a good illustration of that on her hip!
