I found this little sketch, done so long ago I don't even remember, but it made me take a second look. I got out my favourite colour, red transparent oxide, and doodled.

I like this sketch very much full of character but I like the red oxide one too. I must try this colour myself, not one I have come across before.
You are one of the finest portrait artists I've come across and this painting lives up to that!
The red oxide really made a huge difference in this sketch. I just love 'Asleep' and all of the portraits, especially the self portrait. You have such a nice touch, I can't describe it.
