Eloise 12" x 18" Oil

Meet Eloise, who is one of my nieces. I painted this last week from an old photograph. Circumstances have forced her parents to separate, so she is in my thoughts a lot just now.

Yesterday I went to Hertford Art Society Life Drawing day, the results of which can be found on my other blog, which I have just started, reserved exclusively for the life drawing. Posting on this blog will be monthly.

If you would like to purchase this painting for 100GBP (unless otherwise stated) please email me.

I think this is my favorite of your paintings to date. Really lovely! The face is a dream and I love the freshness of the hair.

Eloise is lovely. I thought the same about her hair you have really caught the light well. I particularly like the shapes behind her which harmonize with the hair colour. She looks so happy.
