I thought I would show one of my personal favourites, so far. I love the composition. It reminds me of myself at that age, sitting, isolated, at a party, far away in my own little world. The original was sold, but I missed it, so I painted this one for me. Having said that, if you really like it, I am not averse to selling it!
Have a good weekend, as I shall, because it's HAS day tomorrow! Check my other blog next week!
If you would like to purchase this painting for 300 GBP, please email me.

Looks like you are really busy painting all these different subjects. Make me feel that I don't do enough. Look forward to seeing them on our blog soon. I like this one reminds me of those American artists that paint interiors with figures. A bit like Hopper?
Carolann, thanks for your visit, but, you know, I have hardly painted at all this week, couldn't get going, and then, today I was all of a buzz, full of ideas, and I just HAD TO! Actually I have been full of ideas all wee, but didn't know where to start. That's the way it goes, I reckon you have to have the buzz!
I can see why you wanted to paint this for yourself, the composition is superbe, a really lovely painting. Looking forward to seeing the painting of your two brothers.
Nice work Sharon. The portraits have a warm sympathy.
You've got that 'leave me alone' feeling absolutely down pat. Great painting, great composition, great light!
