Cool Off SOLD

Here is 'Cool Off'' again for those of you who haven't seen it or have forgotten what it looks like.
May it live forever in a happy home!
I've done no painting this weekend because I am trying to improve the ref photos for the painting I have started of Jeff. Photoshop is completely alien to me, but I am trying. Perhaps I should stop listening to other folk, I was quite happy working from rubbish photos before! No...I shall persevere for I have to make better paintings. Onwards and upwards!

Hi, thankyou for reminding us of 'cool off' I do remember it now. Its great. The colour is excellent, tones and all. Especially the sea, can almost feel it lapping around my feet!
Excellent achievement, I'm incredibly jealous.

Thank you, Bill and Carolann, I really appreciate your lovely comments. I was incredibly pleased with myself for painting this one. The sea happened with surprising ease, I think because I was still FEELING it lapping around my feet!

This is one of my favorites, Sharon. Congrats on selling it, although I would miss it, but - moving it - that's what makes the world go round.

I know the figure should be the main focus of this painting, but the water is just so amazing! You've accomplished a wonderful effect with so little paint and that little wave just beyond the legs is absolutely inspired...

Thank you ladies for your comments, they sure keep me going.
Pattie, I agree I was reluctant to part with it, but I always think I can paint another, even though I know it wouldn't be the same!
Beverley, the sea was magic on such a hot day, I shall never forget it, and I hope I have captured the sheer pleasure of paddling, in the figure.
Karen, you should have been there, it was glorious!
Dianne, I think masterpiece might be overstating it, but I don't mind in the least, thank you.

Congratulations, Sharon. I went mad for this painting the moment I saw it. You bowl me over. Your buyer has excellent judgement...it's the same as mine!
