Windill on th Broads  12" x 10" Oil

The suggested topic for today was 'Norfolk Windmill', which everyone was happy to have a go at. After two wipeouts this is my effort. Needs a few light touches.  I got the image from the internet and it has no detail of location, just somewhere on the Norfolk Broads.

Sharon, this is such a watercolour painting waiting to happen! I keep think how it could be interpreted in watercolour retaining the vibrancy of your oils.

Lovely fresh loose painting Sharon with a fabulous feeling of light. I think it might be Mutton's Mill - but there are quite a few black and white mills in Norfolk so not sure :)

I really like the colors you chose for this. I'm a bit of a detail-obsessed painter and I'm trying to break that habit. Your piece just proves to me once again that less can certainly be more. So fresh and full of life!
