Doodles

I have agreed to provide the hospital with three more paintings for permanent display, to hang along the main corridor, round the corner from 'Balloons'. My idea is to do a sequence of three or four paintings of a child at play, jumping off a swing, cartwheeling, gymnastics...or something. So today, at the WA, I doodled. My eye is drawn to the middle sequence......what about yours?

I agree, the middle grouping is eye catching and more "graphic" in design. Be careful not to lose the sense that it is a child at play by cropping out too much! Very nice idea.

Dear Sharon,
Lovely and good on you for the hospital. Sure, your work gives patients and staff something precious beyond language. Regarding doodles, I love them all! I always do that in a spare time.
Cheers, Sadami

I like them all but my eye is drawn to the middle ones. I am sure you will enjoy the challenge of these, and for such a good cause. Have you finished the balloons?

Great gesture drawings! The hospital paintings sounds like a wonderful project!

I was just teaching some elementary students about gesture drawings and I wish I would have seen these before...they would have made a great example for them.
