I actually got to life drawing at Hertford on Saturday and had a brilliant day, as usual. To see more go to my other blog, here.

Wash Art Group
Linda 10" x 12" Oil
This morning I forgot to take my paint, so I couldn't continue with the coastal scene I had begun yesterday at the WA. I did feel daft, and Roy had dropped me off and gone off to Hunstanton. I didn't even have a scrap of charcoal or a pencil in my bag and so twiddled my thumbs until Carolann arrived. Luckily she had brought oils with her, gave me a colour and saved the day! As it happens I am quite pleased with my efforts.
The Wash Art Group are having an exhibition in St Mary's Church, Burnham Market, Norfolk from today til Wed 2nd July, opening 10am - 5pm daily.
Among the exhibited works will be these of mine.
Cliff 16" x 20" Oil
Boatline 8" x 26" Oil

WA - Drawing People
I started off the afternoon with a demo, but....a bit different.....a paint-along-a-Sharon sort of thing.
I hadn't thought it through properly because there was a problem with everyone seeing the model and my drawing! We got there in the end. So my aim was to show how to portray a head with volume and structure.
Thank you to the members who sat for us...very brave.....it is not an easy thing to do.

Pout 10" x 12" Oil WIP
I seem to have slowed up on this one, as I have had a couple of two hour sessions already, and it seems nowhere near finished yet! I like her posing, her pouting and her wagging finger. And the light behind her.
