Other news is that all three works that I have submitted to The Eastern Open, have been 'unselected'.
Their word not mine, so is that any better than 'rejected'? Duh! I have also today collected unsold work from a gallery. Is this the pits? Is this the bottom? Yes, I am feeling sorry for myself!

Chin up friend. You're just paying your dues. I've heard you have to have gotten enough rejections (or unselecteds) to paper your bathroom, before the tides turn. Your JD became more JD with your adjustments. You really have him now. Did you know he's fifty? --Same age (nearly) as my son. I better start fantasizing about somebody else.
Very well done Sharon. I suppose you never really know which pieces are going appeal to the "selection crew" on that day. You have produced so many gorgeous paintings.
