Chain 10" x 10" Oil

I went along to a local art group this afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It is the first one I have found here that has a programme, and I like that, because it gives you a chance to do stuff that you might otherwise not even think about. Hence the chain. I would never in a million years think of painting a chain. I like it, but I have a mischievous notion to put a little man sitting on it!
I hope this is the start of getting back into the swing of things, painting wise, my apologies for the neglect.

Happy Birthday, Alice!

A commission requested on Monday, but I was told on Tuesday that it was required for Saturday! This Saturday! Although it only takes an afternoon to actually draw one, I like to take my time to plan, to mull over the details. Oh well, nothing like pressure to get things done, which it was, yesterday. Next problem was finding a suitable frame, and the next one was breaking it taking out the picture, next one is finding the glass cutter!
