David Lee, art critic and editor of the art paper, The Jackdaw. I met him about three years ago when I took part in a portrait painting competition and he was one of the judges. He adopted this stance often, and I always thought " is he serious!"
He presented himself as a grumpy old git, but in fact I found him to be friendly and extremely helpful with his advice.
