The Bigger Picture

I went along to the unveiling of 'The Bigger Picture' at King's Lynn Arts Centre today. 160 local artists each painted a small part of an unknown work. There was a definite buzz in the air, anticipation, curiosity, expectation, or perhaps just not knowing what to expect!
I hope to re-visit the exhibition, which will include a painting from each of the participating artists.  Looking forward to that.
The Bigger Picture. Splendid, I thought!
This photograph and the next with kind permission of Judith Mazur.
The original painting by an unknown artist.
After the unveiling....plenty to talk about.

Can you name the famous face?

The music was provided by this contraption, the whys and wherefores, I'm sorry, I have no idea.

Members of the West Winch Art Club (WA) who had done their small contribution.
Penny, Doris, Judith, Jacqui, Pat and Christine.

The refreshments were very popular.

What a great idea and such a splendid outcome indeed! I've never seen this before, a painting made up by so many artists.
