I am going to get Ellis to buy me some mussels next time he shops. I love mussels to paint and to eat. You know, they are excellent when tossed into a salad and eaten cold? We do that with leftovers. Your mussels are cooked. Did you paint fast? Or photograph? Great idea for a still life with interest.
