Wash Art Group

Linda  10" x 12"  Oil

This morning I forgot to take my paint, so I couldn't continue with the coastal scene I had begun yesterday at the WA. I did feel daft, and Roy had dropped me off and gone off to Hunstanton. I didn't even have a scrap of charcoal or a pencil in my bag and so twiddled my thumbs until Carolann arrived. Luckily she had brought oils with her, gave me a colour and saved the day! As it happens I am quite pleased with my  efforts.

The Wash Art Group are having an exhibition in St Mary's Church, Burnham Market, Norfolk from today til Wed 2nd July, opening 10am - 5pm daily.
Among the exhibited works will be these of mine.
Cliff  16" x 20"  Oil

Boatline  8" x 26"  Oil

Coast  16" x 20"  Oil

Oh WOW! - I recognized Linda right off. Great job. Her mouth appears to be moving...how DID you do that?
Love your paintings below Linda. The one of the boats is especially stunning.

Linda thinks you missed a likeness and is with-holding funds. No sale here dearie. The whole head was moving, not just the mouth-- more Bacon please. This is why I avoid going into the business of portraiture. I do not want to deal with disgruntled clients. I might have to give this one a try myself--right after Johnny Depp's high cheekbones and prominent jaw line. Our paths seem in sinc.
