A very enjoyable afternoon again. I wasn't brave enough to go for full colour, but I do think the tiny touches lift the painting a bit. Shame the red flag is slap bang in the middle!
This is a nice big pastel piece, Sharon. Wells is a fabulous place for artists - did you do it plein aire or at the WA? Nice to see you using your pastels a bit more. I can almost smell the fish and chips!
well now that red flag is nice and subtle...and I guess it is all right to break a rule now and then. You captured a nice light...and I love the nearly monochromatic look.
