Half Empty + Still Life 3


HALF EMPTY  20" X 16"  OIL
This is finished..for now. I'm not altogether happy with the background but I have no idea how to improve it.


ROSE IN A GLASS 14" X 11" OIL
The third in the series, the rose and leaves painted with a palette knife, the glass with a brush, on a very scrappy piece of board!

    On the portrait it looks flawless if you change the background keep in the same value.
